This is Asta. She was born on March 25, 2019 at approximately 12:20pm.

This is Echo. He was born on March 23, 2019 at approximately 2:30am.

Mother: Violet

This is Echo and Asta, getting to know each other during one of their first trips to “the yard.”

This is Echo, Anja, and Asta on the girls’ first trip out to “the yard” the day after they were born. By this time, Echo was an old pro in the yard, having been out twice before.

This is Baldek, our resident old-timer. Baldek was one of the first three sheep we bought when we started out. Beyond being quite handsome, he is also a pleasure to have around. He loves coming by to visit when we are in the yard and all he expects in return is some good scratches behind his ears and on his neck.

This is Bravo, our elder ram. Bravo came to live with us in 2017 and has grown into quite the good looking man. He is the father of Anja and Asta, our two darling ewe lambs which were born on March 25, 2019.

This is Delta, the first lamb born on our farm. His mother is Helda, and his father is Alpha (a ram we no longer have on the farm). This year, his son Echo was born to him and Violet, our youngest ewe.

This is Helda, our elder ewe. She came to live with us on 2014 along with Baldek. Helda is the mother to Delta, our younger ram, and to Anja and Asta, our newest ewe lambs

This is Rosemary, one of two ewes we purchased from a farm in Tennessee in 2017.

This is Violet. We purchased Violet (and Rosemary) from a farm in Tennessee in 2017. Violet is our youngest ewe, and is quite a character. She is full of personality and she gave birth to Echo, our newest ram lamb, on March 23, 2019.
